Administrator area - Localization |
This section contains all the necessary tools to adapt the catalog for use in different languages.
Currencies
You may specify a list of currencies that may be used for purchasing
a product.
Administrator may add a new currency,
delete an existing currency from the list, or change its parameters. One of the currencies
should be used as a default currency.
Note. Prices for each products depend on the default
currency. For instance, if default currency is USD, then
prices for each products in the catalog (and for all new products)
will also be shown in USD.
To add a new currency, use the "New Currency" dialog box:

Languages
Interface language settings.
Administrator may specify one of the pre-installed interface languages. If the required language is unavailable, it may be added.
All language-specific files are located as follows:
- in the /admin/includes/languages directory for Admin Area
- in the /includes/languages directory for Customer Area.
Each language-specific set includes one main file and a catalog with the same name
that contains additional files (e.g. english.php file and English directory).
To add a new interface language (for instance, French), you need to create first the main file and the language-specific directory both in the /admin/includes/languages directory, and in the /includes/languages directory. You can do this by copying the English set and creating french.php file and French directory.
Afterwards, you can add the new language using the New Language dialog of the Localization-Languages tool:

In the Directory field, enter the name of the catalog containing language-specific files, which corrspond to the newly added language (French, in our case). To complete the procedure, click "Insert".
Afterwards, you will be able to translate language structures, stored in each of the files, using the Tools-Define Languages tool.
The interface language that was 'Set as Default' will be installed for both Customer Area and Admin Area.
Orders Status
This section lists all possible order statuses and their translations into all languages installed in the system. Each status may be edited or deleted. Administrator may also add a new status. To do this, you need to use the New Orders Status dialog.
